One of the favorite things I get to do is develop and promote Sparks. What is Sparks? Learn more here. When the idea came up in conversation that we should have a podcast I was excited. I have been listening to the Freakanomics podcast for sometime now. I was excited to do this.
So what the heck is Sparkscast? It is the podcast where we talk about the latest Sparks event. Each month myself, Robby Slaughter and Chris "The Brain" Hoyt gather together and discuss the last Sparks event. We talk about each speaker, their talk and our personal impressions of their talks. Additionally we discuss the audience's reaction, and the feedback we heard after the show.
The Sparkscast is designed to be 20 minutes in length. New podcast episodes will come out each month at the same time the videos are published on the blog. This is 2 weeks after the show which is normally 2 weeks prior to the next show. If you are asking why then? Well I will answer you. We need production time to prepare everything and it gives our audience a nudge to register for next months event! Genius right?! Thanks we try!
